Let's assume cost of a child cloth is ₹x and the cost of an adult's cloth is ₹y. So according to the given condition;
$20x+4y=13200$ and $y=300+x$
Raplacing y in terms of x we get,
$20x+4(300+x)=13200$
On simplifying we get, $x=500$
Putting value of x in any of the two equations obtained above, we get
$y=800$
According to the given condition, the total amount spent by Sunil is given by
$4x+20y$
On substituting the values of x and y, we get,
$4\times 500+20\times 800$
On simplifying we get;
₹18,000 is the total amount paid by Sunil.
