Normal menstruation lasts for
4-7 days
A menstrual cycle is the body’s way of preparing for pregnancy each month in females. Menstruation is when the body sheds the lining of the uterus in the absence of fertilisation of the egg by a sperm. The menstrual blood flows from the uterus through the cervix and the vagina and finally out of the body. For most women, menstruation normally lasts for four to seven days.
