Nutritive cells of seminiferous tubules are Sertoli cells. Sertoli cells are found in the germinal epithelium of seminiferous tubules. Sertoli cells are also known as nurse cells. They provide nutrition to spermatozoa. Spermatozoa are developing sperms. Heads of spermatozoa are embedded in the sertoli cells. Sertoli cells also secrete called inhibin which suppresses FSH synthesis.
