Solution
Multiple fission occurs by the repeated division of the nucleus inside the protist cell. This nucleus of the parent cell divides by amitosis. This process occurs when conditions are unfavorable. The parent cell turns into a cyst which contains many small daughter cells.
When favourable conditions arrives cyst bursts and releases many small daughter cells which later grow into new organisms.
