In the process of separating DNA fragments which fragements moves faster?

Solution
The DNA fragments can be isolated using the technique called Agarose gel electrophoresis. In this technique, the DNA fragments are present under the electric field and attracted towards one terminal (i.e., positive terminal) of the apparatus, as the DNA is negative in charge, the DNA moves towards the positive terminal. Here, the DNA fragments move inside a mesh-like structure of agarose gel which limits the movement of the DNA fragments. Thus, in this process of separating DNA fragments, the shorter element moves faster.
Hence, A>B>C is the correct order of the speed of fragments.
