Solution

The correct option is B 4491
let A be the event that person A will die in 30 yrs and let B be the event that person B will die in 30 yrs.

P(A)=88+5

P(A)=813P(¯A)=513

Similarly, P(B)=47 or P(¯B)=37

There are two ways in which one person is alive after 30 yr.
¯AB and A¯B and event are independent.

So, required probability
=P(¯A)P(B)+P(A)P(¯B)

=51347+81337=4491.
