1 mole of nacl or 58.5g pure NaCl contains 35.5 g chlorine
% Chlorine in pure NaCl =35.558.5×100 =60.7%
100% pure sample 60.7% chlorine
Therefore, x% pure sample 45.5% chlorine
x=45.560.7× =74.95% pure.
