One angle of a parallelogram is of measure 70°, find the measures of the remaining angles of the parallelogram.

Open in App
Solution

Let PQRS is a parallelogram in which P = 70° and P and Q are adjacent angles.
P + Q = 180° (Angles on the same side of a transversal are supplementary.)
70° + Q = 180°
Q = 110°
P = R = 70° (Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.)
Q = S = 110° (Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.)
