Given : Ratio in which the ice cream is divided = 2:5:3

Let the 1st child get 2x ice-cream, 2nd child get 5x and 3rd child get 3x of the ice cream

Total Ice-cream = 2x + 5x + 3x = 10x

It is given that 2x = 400 gm

$\Rightarrow$ x = 200 gm

$\therefore$ Weight of the total ice-cream brick = 10x = 10$\times$ 200 = 2000 gm or 2 kgs
