One kg of tea and one kg of sugar together cost Rs 130.

If the price of tea falls by 25% and that of sugar rises by 40% then the price of one kg of each combined comes Rs 120.

The correct option is C 95.38
Let the cost of 1 kg of tea be Rs. x.
and, cost of 1 kg of sugar be Rs. y.
From the given data, we have
x+y=130
x=130y...(1)
and, (x25% of x)+(y+40% of y)=120
(x25100x)+(y+40100y)=120
(75100x)+(140100y)=120
75x+140y=12000
75(130y)+140y=12000[using (1)]
975075y+140y=12000
65y=2250
y=34.62
Put the value of y in (1), we get
x=13034.62
x=95.38
So, Cost of 1 kg tea is Rs. 95.38.
Hence, D is the correct option.
