One side of a parallelogram is $\frac{3}{4}$ times its adjacent side. If the perimeter of the parallelogram is $70cm$, find the sides of the parallelogram .

Let $a$ and $b$ be the adjacent sides of a parallelogram.

Given,

$b=\frac{3}{4}a$

Perimeter $=2(a+b)=70$

$2(a+\frac{3}{4}a)=70$

$a+\frac{3}{4}a=35$

$\frac{7}{4}a=35$

$\therefore a=35\times \frac{4}{7}$

$\Rightarrow a=20$cm

$\Rightarrow b=\frac{3}{4}\times 20=15$

Sides of parallelogram are $15,20,15,20$
