Since the weighing balance is balanced the total weight on both the sides will be equal.

Weight of 2 stones + weight of 2 oranges
= weight of 1 stone + weight of 7 oranges

Weight of 2 stone - Weight of 1 stone
= Weight of 7 oranges - Weight of 2 oranges

Weight of 1 stone
= Weight of 5 oranges
= 5 × 2 kg
= 10 kg
