Our eye is of spherical shape but what will happen if it's shape changes to oval, rectangle etc. What will happen if the shape of an eye is disturbed?

An irregularly shaped cornea or lens prevents light from focusing properly on the retina (the light-sensitive surface at the back of the eye). As a result, vision becomes blurred at any distance.When the shape is disturbed, it causes refractive errors like myopia, hyper-myopia, and astigmatism.
