Solution

Grafting is the commonly used method for asexual propagation in plants, in which one plant, selected for its roots, called stock and other plant, selected for its stem and leaves, flowers etc, called scion, are cut and then joined together in such a way that tissues of one plants are inserted into another to join two sets of vascular tissues.
Rate of success is highest in whip grafting as this techniques offers a maximum contact between the cambial tissues of both the plants. This technique is used for various fruit plants.
Four flap grafting is somewhat difficult or complex graft and is commonly used for a fruit plant, pecan.
