Out of the following fractions which is the smallest and which the greatest?
$\frac{3}{4},\frac{5}{2},\frac{8}{25},\frac{7}{5}$

Let make the denominators of all the fraction same, so that we can compare just the numerator to arrive at the answer.

$\frac{3}{4}=\frac{3\times 25}{4\times 25}=\frac{75}{100}$

$\frac{5}{2}=\frac{5\times 50}{2\times 50}=\frac{250}{100}$

$\frac{8}{25}=\frac{8\times 4}{25\times 4}=\frac{32}{100}$

$\frac{7}{5}=\frac{7\times 20}{5\times 20}=\frac{140}{100}$

Now we can compare the largest and smallest by looking at the numerators.
So the smallest fraction is $\frac{8}{25}$ and the largest fraction is $\frac{5}{2}$
