Let total income be = $x$
after spending $20\%$ of x he has = $\frac{80}{100}x$
after spending $70\%$ of remaining he has
=$\frac{30}{100}\times \frac{80}{100}x$
$\frac{30}{100}\times \frac{80}{100}x=1800$
$x=\frac{1800\times 100}{24}=300\times 25=7500$
