A brass tumbler feels much cooler than a wooden tray on a chilly day. Why?

Bass tumbler is made out of metal which is a good conductor of heat and electricity while wooden tray is not. Now, the tumbler being a good conductor of heat is able to extract heat from our hands (while touching it) more effectively than a wooden tray. This is what makes the bass tumbler more cooler to feel than the wooden tray.
