Units of energy consumed = 250 units

This ‘unit’ term used to mean Commercial Unit of power which is actually kilowatthour (kWh).

Therefore,

Energy = 250 kWh = 250 X 1000 Wh (k = kilo = 1000)

= > Energy = 250 X 1000 X 60 X 60 Ws (h = hour = 60 X 60 s)

= > Energy = 9 X 108 J (Ws = J )
