Question

A load of 40 kg is to be divided in 4 parts such that all the weights between 1 kg and 40 kg can be measured using it. It is not necessary to use all the four weights.
For Example IF we have 2 weights of 2 kg and 5 kg respectively, then we can measure a 2 kg using one of them, 5 kg using one of them, 2+5= 7kg using both and 5-2=3kg using both. In the similar way we have to divide a load of 4 kg into 4 parts so that we can measure all weights between 1kg and 40kg
