Speed of the man to cover certain distance = 44.8 km/hr
Time taken to cover this certain distance = 4 hours and 12 minutes = $4 \frac{12}{60} = 4 \frac{1}{5} = \frac{21}{5} hours$
So, distance covered = $speed \times time = 44.8 \times \frac{21}{5} = 188.16 km$
Now, when speed = 58.8 km/hr
Then, time taken to cover 188.16 km = $\frac{distance}{speed} = \frac{188.16}{58.8} = 3.2$ hours
