as the heat absorbed during vapourisation does not raises water's temp then how does it cause better burns to the skin than water at 100 C. BCZ rate of radiant heat transmission depends on the the temperature of the water
Water boils at 100 0C. At this temperature vaporization of water takes place. The steam near the surface of water is also at 100 0C. So, obviously if the steam or the water touches you at this condition, it will burn your skin.
