As we know that sugar and salt are solids. When we put them into a container of any shape and size sugar or salt will attain the shape of that container. So why we say that solids havr definite shape and volume. Give reasons?

All solids have a definite shape and a definite volume. Sugar and salt crystals have a definite shape and a definite volume. Even when we pour the crystals in a container they maintain their properties.
