2 tertiary butyl chloride + 2 Na (in dry ether )---------> 2,2,3,3-tetra methyl butane

c)

butanoic acid + NH3 ------------> butanamide

butanamide + Br2/NaOH --------> prapanamide

prapanamide + HCl----> propane
