Question

Can a bite of a honey bee kill a person ?! I think it's a rare case, right?

I asked this because in Andaman, on February 22nd, a small girl, only 7 years old was playing outside, and a honey bee bit her. She screamed and her parents went out to see what has happened. She was holding her chest as she was facing breathing difficulties. The moment she was brought to hospital, she died. ;-(

Solution

A bite of honey bee cannot kill a person unless the person is allergic to the honey bee sting. The poison of honey bee sting is not that harmful for human. There is a type of bee called killer bee whose bite may kill a person but these types of bees are only present in Africa.
