can anyone explain how and why we cant hear high or low pitched sounds

Open in App
Solution

The human ear has a hearing range of 20 Hz to 20000Hz.
Sounds low in frequency are called low pitched sounds, and those high in frequency are called high pitched sounds. So, we cannot hear pitches lower than 20 hz and higher than 2000Hz.
