Question

Can I have more information about electric field intensity and electric field?

Open in App
Solution

Electric field is a region in space around a charged particle where other charge particles experience a force due to is presence. So, it is a medium of one charge's influence over others.

The electric field at any point is equal to the force experienced by a unit positive charge due to that charge. Thus, electric field is equal to electric force per unit charge. It is given as

E = F/q0

Electric field intensity is the strength of electric field at any given point.
