Cell wall is present in plants as they can't move . So cell wall can provide protection to them then why is cell wall present in bacteria?They can move and can live in any type of environment .Then protection from what ?

The function of cell wall in bacteria is to protect the bacteria from osmotic shock and physical damage. Cell wall also provides rigidity to bacterial cells.
