differentiate between major structural change in the human ovary during the follicular and luteal phase of the menustral cycle

During the follicular phase several follicles develop inside the ovary after that when follicle stimulating hormone decreases only one follicle develops, whereas in luteal phase the ruptured follicle closes after releasing egg and formation of corpus luteum takes place.
