Question

what will happen if friction is not there

Open in App
Solution

Hello everyone,
In the absence of friction:
You won’t be able to walk on the road or any surface. You won’t be able to hold a pen to write anything on paper. You would be able to push or pull any heavy object on the floor or any surface. Car won’t stop even if you apply the brakes. There would be no loss of energy due to heating up of engine parts by friction. And like Adi said, you won’t be able to perform any of your daily activities.
Hope you got it why friction is so necessary although it makes many works difficult.
Keep posting and have a nice day!
