Solution

When pollen grain matures, it contains two cells, the vegetative cell and generative cell. Vegetative cell is bigger, has abundant food reserve and a large irregularly shaped nucleus. The generative cell is small and floats in the cytoplasm of the vegetative cell. Since the vegetative cell has not been damaged, by the laser beam. therefore, the pollen grain of a flowering plant germinates and produces normal pollen tube.
