Plane mirrors are reflecting surfaces whose focal length is assumed to be infinity. A beam of parallel light remains parallel after reflection from a plane mirror. The image formed by a plane mirror is always virtual and erect and can’t be captured in a screen. The object distance and the image distance for a plane mirror are always the same.
