explain how would you modify the metre bridge to use it conveniantly in the laboratory to determine the specific resistance of a given wire ?

We use sliding wire meter bridge.
In this we use 1 m long wire whose specific resistance and area is know.
we connect a wire whose resistance is unknown one side and a known resistor on other side.
We slide the jockey on the wire to get the point where deflection in the galvanometer is zero.
And using the formula of meter bridge, we can calculate the specific resistance of the wire.
