When an organism infect a particular organ like lungs or liver than it is known as a organ specific manifestation.
When an organism infect an particular tissue or cell type than it is known as a tissue specific manifestation. Like HIV virus infect specific tissue or cell types (T cells and macrophages).

Depending on the type of tissue or organ is infected, the signs and symptoms differ like if liver is infected the person will suffer from jaundice, if lungs are infected the person will suffer from tuberculosis and if brain is infected the person will suffer from fits, headache, vomiting and unconsciousness.
