helium is dublly charge ion and helium is having alpha partical ions , than why is helium is not an rdioactive material or a gas

Helium is result of radioactive decay of large amount of minerals because they emit alpha particles which is nothing but He2+ to which electrons combine immediately and form helium. Helium is a gas. But it is not radioactive, only heavier unstable elements undergo radioactive decay to produce lower elements with emission of alpha, beta and gamma rays.
