Common symptoms:

• Increased urination (sometimes as often as every hour)
• Unusual weight loss or gain
• In women, frequent vaginal infections
• Slow-healing sores or cuts

Treatment:

All types of diabetes are treatable. Patients are treated with regular insulin injections, as well as a special diet and exercise, tablets, but sometimes insulin injections are also required. Complications would be developed if diabetes is not adequately controlled.
