Farm production can be increased in many ways. Some of them are -

1. Scientific method of farming should be adopted.
2. Sufficient irrigation should be provided and dependence on rains should be eliminated.
3. Judicious use of fertilizers and pesticides.
4. Better and approved quality of seeds must be sown.
5. Methods to improve or maintain the fertility of soil like crop rotation, alternate cropping must be adopted.
6. Use of machinery in agriculture saves time and effort in agriculture.
7. Land must be consolidated using co-operative farming or community farming to optimise the use of irrigation and machinery.
