how does measles infect us ?

Open in App
Solution

Measles is an infection of the respiratory system caused by paramyxovirus and is transmitted through contact with droplets ( fluids from an infected person's nose and mouth). When the healthy person sneezes or coughs, droplets spray into the air. The infected droplets can come in contact other people's noses or throats through breathing or putting their fingers in their mouth or nose after touching an infected surface.
