Question

How does our eyes identifies colours around us?

Open in App
Solution

The cone cells present in human eye have the ability to sense the spectrum of light and create colour images in our brain. These cells can differentiate three colours from the spectrum of solar radiation. They are red, blue and green. For this reason, these three colours are known as primary colours. The brain gets information through cones and redirects to the eyes through optic nerves and as a result eyes can identify the colours. .
