How is cell division formed?

Open in App
Solution

Cell division occurs by the process known as mitosis. The cell grows almost double in size and also duplicate its genetic content i.e. DNA before division. Then the cell divides into two equal halves giving rise to two daughter cells. Each daughter cell is identical to the parent cell.
