How is green manure different from ordinary manure ?

Open in App
Solution

Green manure is a fertilizer which actually consists of small green plants growing in the soil which are ploughed back into the soil in order to increase the nutritional content of the soil.

On the other hand normal manure is decomposed product obtained by microorganisms when they carry out decomposition of plant, animal and other farm wastes. This also increases the nutritional content of the soil.
