Solution

Oxidation is the gain of oxygen and reduction is the loss of oxygen.
The given reactions are:
MnO2+ 4HCl MnCl2 +Cl2+2H2O
Here MnO2 looses oxygen. So, MnO2 is reduced and HCl is oxidized.

Fe2O3 + 2Al 2Fe + Al2O3
Here Fe2O3 looses oxygen. So, Fe2O3 is reduced and Al is oxidized.

PbO + C Pb + CO
Here PbO looses oxygen. So, PbO is reduced and C is oxidized.

CuO + H2 Cu + H2O
Here CuO looses oxygen. So, CuO is reduced and H2 is oxidized.
