If a farmer wants to make his field fertile,what should he add manure or fertilizers?

Fertilizers are rich in inorganic nutrients. They provide specific nutrients to the soil like nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, etc. If the farmer knows about the nutrient to which the soil is deficient, he can make the soil fertile by using fertilizers having that specific nutrient.

But usually farmers don't know the particular requirements of the soil. In that case, he should use manure. Manures are the decomposed organic matter. It contains all essential nutrients required by plants for their growth. It also increases the number of useful micro-organisms in soil and improves the soil texture.
