in a farm there are a few cattles. how will u recognize which is healthy and which is diseased ?

besides causing ill health and death how does diseases effect dairy animals ?

The healthy and unhealthy or sick animals can be identified based on their behaviour, difference in their posture, feeding habit, the amount of milk produced by them, quality of milk and their excretory products. If reduction in milk production is noticed or cattle is found irritable, not eating properly, not able to maintain the good posture these are the sign of ill health.

Besides ill health and death disease affect the amount of milk produced by cattle, the quality of milk gets degraded as lactation gets affected by ill health.
