Solution

In Unicellular organisms like bacteria growth and reproduction are mutually inclusive because both of these processes are difficult to separate from each other. The unicellular organism grow only when they reproduce. This is because cell division is the means of reproduction . But in case of multicellular organisms the growth takes place because of enlargement of cells and cell division. In plants we are able to see cell division in their entire life span, but in animals the growth is seen only up to a certain age . So both the process of growth and reproductions are separate events in multicellular organisms.
