indus and brahmaputra are two rivers originated from same place but one moves from east west (jammu kashmir) and other moves from west to east(arunachal pradesh) .WHY

Even though Indus and Brahmaputra originates from the same area, but they are not originating from the same source.

Brahmaputra originates from Chemayungdung Glacier which is between Himalayas in China where Indus originates from Tibetan Plateau near Lake Mansarovar. They flow in different directions because of the geographical layout of the ground.
