Solution

Taxonomy is the science of classifying or grouping organisms together on the basis of features they have in common.

Classification can be said to be the process of organising things on the basis of certain selected properties or traits.

Classification is a broad term and can be used for classification on any basis like on the basis of movement, then almost the organisms would come under one category but taxonomy is classification done on the basis of certain fixed criteria to put organisms under a particular taxa or category.
