This is a good query. Actually, it is confusing whether milk is acidic or basic as it contains basic calcium and other minerals and acidic lactic acid etc.

But its overall pH value ranges from 6.5 to 6.7 and it gives slightly acidic to neutral result in litmus test but it is considered as acidic and not as basic.
