KOH absorbs gases such as water vapour, CO₂, NO₂, SO₂ etc then how can we prove that co2 is released during respiration of germinating seeds in the practicals?

Solution

The gas that is released in the experiment is carbon dioxide can be proved by passing the gas through lime water. If lime water turns milky the gas released is carbon dioxide.
