A stone which has mass of 12g and a density of 3 (g/cm.cm.cm) ,is lowered into 20 cm.cm.cm of water in a measuring cylinder. What will be the new reading on the measuring cylinder ?

mass= 12g
Density = mass/ volume
volume = mass/density = 12/3 = 4 cm cube
New reading of cylinder = 20 + 4 cm cube = 24 cm cube
