Then, the value of rms current (I_v) will be given by $\frac{I_{0}}{\sqrt{2}}$ , as we know that, the relation between peak value of a.c.current (I₀) and rms value of a.c. current (I_v) is given by :
I_v = $\frac{I_{0}}{\sqrt{2}}$
